Twigsee is an established Czech company operating in seven markets across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Their app helps childcare centers digitize administrative tasks and paperwork, making it easy for both teachers and parents to share info about the children, daily programs, and upcoming events. Applifting was brought on board in September 2021 to help Twigsee rewrite their native app to Flutter.

MISSION: Switching from native to hybrid
Twigsee wanted to create a new app
with an updated API they had been developing. We assisted them in finishing its design, explained to them how Flutter worked and what its pros and cons were, and then proceeded to start building the hybrid app from scratch.
CHALLENGE: Sharing files across two platforms
We needed to enable users to share photos,
videos, and documents across all devices, which was complicated due to Flutter struggling with large file uploads. Additionally, with the transition to a hybrid framework, the overall user experience had to remain consistent and smooth.
SOLUTION: Making a successful app more efficient
The app was released on the App Store, Google Play,
and Huawei’s AppGallery. The original design was changed during the development as Twigsee made a decision to redesign the app. Finally, we handed the project over to their internal team the following summer.
I had cooperated with Applifting prior to our work on Twigsee, and much like the first time, joining forces with them proved to be invaluable. They were very attentive to what we had to say while also giving us constructive feedback when something we came up with seemed out of place. With Applifting's help, we successfully reached our goal to provide the best possible value to our clients.
